Can you feel it?

Shhhh...listen quietly... Did you hear it? Change is coming...

The leaves are changing and slowly falling to the ground. One by one, they say good-bye to their safe and sturdy branch. They say thank you for nurturing me, feeding me, holding me high in the air to touch the rays of the sun, drink in the rain drops. Thank you, tree, for helping me grow and giving me a place to do a little work. Allowing me to shade the earth below, be a haven for the birds, bees, squirrels. A shelter in the storm. But my work up here is done and now I must let go, move on. Will you watch me on my journey? Watch how I spin. Was is fast or slow? Did I let go swiftly in the whirl of the wind, or gently with you holding on to the very last minute. I'm taking everything you have given me along the way. But it is now time for me to give back and nourish the earth below.

Watch as the magic starts. We wait patiently on our branches for just the right moment. Notice how none of us are the same, but when together create beauty undescribable! The only word...WOW. Notice as our beautiful colors twirl in the wind. Scoop me up, play with me, pile me up and jump on in!! At last I find a resting spot. Huddle up, it's going to be a cold one. snuggle down deep into the earth, asleep in slumber until I help others grow in the spring.

Notice, nurture, help, let go, love, admire, give in...to change. Get involved or watch from afar, it never stops.
