Oops, forgot this one...

Ah, the fit of a new hat, Brownie leader! Well, today actually the cookie-mom hat wearer. All we need is 4 out of 6 activities completed and we'll have the "Cookie Counter" Try-it for the brownie vests! Practice making change...Let's see first graders don't know how to add and subtract money, but I showed them so that counts (1), Get to know the product being sold...they can't tell me the names of the cookies, or how much they cost (despite the fact their troop sold 843 of them!), but they all agreed thin mints are the favorite. Yep I'd say that counts (2). Create a poster to advertise for cookies, well they can't seem to color "every other letter a different color" and glue the pictures with the correct cookie name, but it's a work of art! (3). And now for the art project incorporating the cookie descriptions, hey they even provide a copy of a cootie catcher, this will be a breeze! Not so much, 7 year olds can't fold paper to make a cootie catcher despite the step by step visual. Ok, I'll fold them all for you. Yeah, we did it, that is number 4 and 'viola' here's your Try-it. Oh and by the way even when they say they can, they can't pour juice into a cup without spilling. They do know how to say please and thank you (check the badge book, yes that counts towards the badge). We actually completed 5 out of 6 after all! Our cookie booth is on the 22nd, wish us luck!
